Tulivat aivan ”kreivin aikaan”, sillä päätin kesän keskiaikaprojektiksi juurikin kunnollisen alusmekon ompelun. Moisen tekeminen on vuosikausia lykkääntynyt, sillä sovituksen saloihin ei liiemmälti ole ohjeita löytynyt (toteamuksia, että ”tämä on paras tehdä niin, että ystävä sovittaa ja harsii vaatteen päälle” kylläkin, mutta miten?!?) Saas nähdä, miten onnistuu…

But… but… how do you put it on? Is there some kind of lacing in the back? Or do you just wiggle in? (It looks fantastic, and I need to do at least three of these!) Thanks :)
There is no lacing, you just wiggle in! Thanks for the question, I’ll update the FAQ with a closer description on how to put it on.
Hello! I am very interested in how you make your sleeves. In your handout it looks like you have rectangular or trapezoid shaped sleeves. Do you not fit an armsyce? Are you using T-tunic like sleeves? Thanks!! :-)
They’re very simple sleeves, not tailored at the armscye, just tapering towards the wrist. Most medieval linens seem to be very simple in their pattern.
