Olen ihan kamalan huono ottamaan valokuvia tapahtumissa. En muista ottaa kameraa mukaan enk\u00e4 esille. Keskiajalla on aina muutakin puuhaa kuin kuvien r\u00e4psiminen, mutta toisaalta olisi hauska katsella kes\u00e4isi\u00e4 leirimuistoja talven kylmetess\u00e4 ja my\u00f6s tietenkin jakaa kuvia tapahtumien j\u00e4lkeen teille t\u00e4\u00e4ll\u00e4 Neulakossa.<\/p>\n

Kes\u00e4n leirill\u00e4 en siis muistanut juuri kuvata, mutta teltassa tuli yhten\u00e4 aurinkoisena p\u00e4iv\u00e4n\u00e4 kuvattua uusi ohje hunnun pukemisesta. Turun markkinoilla moni tuli kysyneeksi, miten se huntu oikein puetaan. Sen inspiroimana uudistin huntuohjesivun ja lis\u00e4sin uuden ohjeen, jossa n\u00e4yt\u00e4n miten huntu puetaan niinkuin olen sen t\u00e4n\u00e4 kes\u00e4n\u00e4 tavannut pukea. Toivottavasti siit\u00e4 on teille hy\u00f6ty\u00e4!<\/p>\n

I’m terribly bad at taking pictures at events. I either forget to pack my camera or take it out. When I go medieval (tsk tsk) I find that I always have so much else to do than take pictures. In a way it’s the way it should be, but then again pictures of camps in the summer would be lovely during the winter and I would of course like to share them with you here on Neulakko.<\/p>\n

I hardly remebered to take pictures of life at camp this year, except for one sunny day when we shot a new veil tutorial in my tent. Quite a few people asked me how I assemble my headdress when we were at Turku medieval market this year, which inspired me to update and renew the veil page here on Neulakko and add a new tutorial on the style of veil which I have preferred this summer. I hope you find it useful.<\/p>\n

And as and extra bonus to all my foreign readers, I am happy to tell you that the veil page and both the tutorials are now also available in English! I’ve seen that the first tutorial has circulated quite a bit on the ’net even if it has been around only in Finnish. So I’ve felt the need to translate, even if the pictures really are the most important part of the tutorials and fairly self-evident.<\/p>\n
